Wendy Davis

Hold on to your cowboy hats Texans, the Apocalypse is on it’s way, and her name is Wendy Davis. As many of you know Davis is the Senator who stood up (literally for 11 hours) against an anti-women’s health bill. That itself had Republicans shaking at the knees, so her run for Texas governor must feel like an earthquake. Texas just passed a Voter ID Law that singles out women who commonly have name changes, thus, you guessed it, no ID. Unless you want to fork over $20, and wait on the mail for your “original” documents. The law puts women at a clear disadvantage in getting Wendy Davis in office, so it’s up to everyone who wants Texas to accept the fact that it’s almost 2014; which I think is everybody except Texas itself–excluding Austin.
