History

History is a collection of a society’s memories. A giant long-term brain that won’t die or decay. We used to live in muddy, stick tents and caves–until we started writing. The simple act of painting important information on cave walls, carving it in stone, and showing it to others, took us from our humble beginnings to the very edge of the universe. That’s the power of history, and the testament of language.
