The Revolution

People say things are grim, that life just doesn’t work like it did in the old days–when one could shove a flower down a gun barrel. Everybody’s looking for a revolution, without realizing, our generation is the revolution. But it’s cycle will be short, for the future holds no flowers, or guns because the future’s problems will be hunger and scarcity. The few flowers will be reserved for eating, and bullets won’t be wasted on people.
