I stepped into a bus of screaming elementary students. The kids added a feeling of unease to the TriMet atmosphere and I didn’t like it one bit; I could tell the driver was pissed about it too. And the expressions of the riders, a teeter-totter of scowls and frowns as the children screamed. So I did what any iPhone user would, popped in my ear-buds and imagined my body evaporating into the air around me. No longer was I a nobody on the bus, full of loud screaming kids, I was the air in their lungs.
