Fundamental Problem of Everything

My mouth is not your mouth.
Your ears are not my ears.
Were our eyes interchangeable,
What they view is not.
What makes my heart race,
Has no bearing on your pulse.
What your stomach loves,
Ties mine up in knots.
Even standing side by side:
I have inches all over,
And you’re tight as a rope.
But our tongues do try,
To explain it all inside.
